The Home Rehab Application is available online for the Under 1 Roof and Green and Healthy Homes Programs. If selected for assistance, staff will review the application and determine the program for assistance based on home needs and current conditions.
Only one application is needed per home address. Do not apply multiple times as it does not impact selection.
The online application will require applicants to submit the following information for all members of the household for which it applies. Proof of home ownership is required and you may submit one of the documents listed below. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed for selection. Incomplete applications include failing to list all household members and/or failing to submit required documents for all household members.
You are not able to upload documents after the application is submitted. Please ensure your application is complete before submitting.
The required documents include:
- Proof of Home Ownership (one or more of the items below as it applies)
- Court Order such as probated will or divorce decree
- Bexar County Tax Statement
- Driver's License/Identification Card for all adult household members
- Social Security Card/Resident Card for all household members
- Proof of Income/Employment (most recent 6 paystubs) for all household members with income
- Official Social Security Award Letter, or Retirement Award Letter (if applicable)
- 3 months of Bank Statements (if account exists)
- Mortgage/Loan/Home Equity Statement (if applicable)
To apply, please complete the following steps:
- Register an account with an email address to create a username
- Login with username and complete application questions
- The application allows you to save information and return as needed.
- Attach all required documents for household members as listed above
- Submit application when all questions are answered and documents attached. You will receive an email confirming your application has been submitted
