The City of San Antonio will utilize online bidding services via CivCast at https://www.civcast.com/bids for the Frank Garret HVAC Project project. Scope: This project is to provide a replacement of the air cooled chiller plant and associated piping, as well as to provide a replacement of existing electrical equipment and associated feeders. The new air cooled chiller plant will be located in a new ground-level utility yard located adjacent to the building; with the existing air-cooled chiller plant being removed from the roof. All work shall be performed in a cost effective and time efficient manner so as to minimize interruptions in services to the existing building, which is to remain in operation throughout construction.
Replacement of the domestic plumbing systems in the crawlspace and construction of a new chiller yard enclosure is considered as add- alternates.
