The City of San Antonio is soliciting bids from eligible bidders for the purchase and delivery of fluoride varnish for the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District (SAMHD). Said item will be used by the SAMHD Oral Health Program to provide preventive oral health services to children enrolled in The City of San Antonio Head Start and Early Head Start Child Care Partnership programs. The purpose of the program is to improve access to preventive dental services and reduce the percentage of children who present with tooth decay and/or an urgent dental need.
