The City of San Antonio will utilize online bidding services via CivCast at https://www.civcast.com/bids for the Pinn Rd. LWC Safety Improvement project.
Scope: Area residents, businesses, and motorists have expressed concerns about the Low Water Crossing (LWC) of mainstream Leon Creek at Pinn Rd and State Hwy 151. This crossing floods frequently under minor storm events making it dangerous for motorists and resulting in numerous Swift Water Rescues. This project will provide safety improvements for the crossing and for those residents that utilize Pinn Rd. The improvement is for an Advanced Warning. A “Quiet Zone”-type warning devices to be installed to prevent crossing during a flood. Infrastructure will include arms, medians, flashing lights, flow detections and cameras.
