Fire Station 52 Replacement
The City of San Antonio (City), Public Works Department (PWD) is issuing a Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals (RFCSP) for qualified firms (Respondents) to provide construction services for the Fire Station #52 Replacement Improvements, located at 10440 Quintana Rd, Von Ormy, TX 78073.
On November 10, 2022, City Council approved Ordinance 2022-11-10-0872 authorizing the negotiation and execution of 25 Professional Services Contracts of which Alamo Architects, Inc. was selected to design the Fire Station 52 Replacement project. Alamo Architects was originally selected to design a 9,000 square foot addition to the exiting apparatus bays for Fire Station 52 replacing the existing temporary administration and housing areas at the station. Subsequent programming has determined that to provide a fully functional station that meets the needs of the assigned area of operations an additional apparatus bay and supporting equipment bunker needs to be provided. New construction to include one (1) EMS bay with Pavement Vehicle Exhaust System, USDD Fire Alerting System /Joker Stand, Kitchen/Dining, Day Room, Public Lobby, Offices, Officers’ dorms, Fire Fighters’ dorms, EMS dorms and quarters. Exercise room, laundry, restrooms, and bathrooms, mechanical and electrical rooms, IT room, emergency generator, mechanical yard, storage, public and staff parking, entrance and exit drives, landscaping.
