Metro Health is seeking a contractor to provide Triple P Positive Parenting Education classes at no cost to parent participants (participants). The Triple P – Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) is a highly researched, evidence-based system of positive parenting and family support based on social learning, cognitive behavioral, and developmental theory. Triple P at the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District (Metro Health), situated in the Violence Prevention section, facilitates Triple P programming across San Antonio and Bexar County as a child abuse prevention initiative. Triple P at Metro Health also supports the expansion and population-level rollout of Triple P in San Antonio and Bexar County by providing training, peer support, and technical assistance to community partners who implement the Triple P system.
