Metro Health is seeking a commercial pharmacy or prescription provider to implement an insulin coverage service. The selected pharmacy or prescription partner will receive funds to cover the cost of insulin for pharmacy patients who cannot afford insulin. The initiative is estimated to serve approximately 500 individuals with diabetes diagnosis. The pharmacy partner/prescription provider will also promote Metro Health's Diabetes Prevention and Control program to all patients who are served by the insulin coverage program with the aim of referring them to participate in diabetes workshops.
